My Mother's Recipe: Refried Beans on Toast with ZUBI'S Salsa & Queso
This recipe of my mothers is near and dear to my heart and always takes me back. It's simple, yet delicious, and was a staple in my house growing up! My mom used to make it for breakfast and wrap it in tin foil for me. Today, I add my own flair (who's surprised)! I mixed in ZUBI'S Salsa to the beans and then drizzled ZUBI'S Queso on top. A childhood favorite of mine!
Recipe:
-5 cups black beans
-9 T olive oil ( to fry beans in)
-Mash together with 3 tsp garlic salt (add more or less if desired)
-Add 16oz ZUBI’S Salsa
-Add 3 T red wine 🍷 (add more or less if desired)

Cook and stir until combined, add to toast or any dish! I love topping my toast with green onions or cilantro and ZUBI'S Queso.
